One Man Army
Rumors and Headlines
To me, One Man Army sound part Clash, part pub-punk rock, and a hint of Dickies and that's a good thing (think along the lines of Swingin' Utters). For the most part, the songs on Rumors and Headlines are fast & poppy, with anthemic sing-along refrains. Production's good with a nice, solid guitar sound. Not much more to say One Man Army is good, solid, no-frills punk rock, with a hint of pop (almost all of the songs fall between 2 and 3 minutes). Not all of the the songs are memorable, but the best cuts are "Victoria", "It's Empty", "Here We Are", and "Rotting in the Doldrums".
