Bobby Carter

Bobby Carter is the guy behind such riding videos as Explorations, The 25th Parallel, and the Diversion flatland video magazine series. In addition to being a talented filmmaker, he's also a damn good rider and a heck of a nice guy. You can't beat a combination like that.

Last time you rode
Last night for a little while. I was tired, but I just wanted to enjoy it.
Last CD you bought
Appliance "Six Modular Pieces". I was at Aron's Records with Erin Donato in Hollywood.
Last movie you saw
"CQ" on DVD at Hollywood Steve's place. He somehow got ahold of a screening copy from MGM.
Last riding video you watched
Diversion 2.0 and raw footage for 3.0.
Last time you crashed
After I returned to my apartment last night, after working for 14 hours and then trying to ride a bit.
Last place you rode
Ralph's in Hollywood.
Last time you were psyched on riding
That's a constant, present state of being for me.
Last contest you entered
Battle of Elsinore '99.
Last magazine you read
Cream #19. It just showed up in my mailbox. Thanks Cream crew!
Last time you were scared
Before I went Bungee Jumping in Mexico, but as soon as I jumped off the platform, I wasn't scared anymore.
Last food you ate
Eggos for breakfast.
Last thing you did that made you proud
Creating the first all flatland Diversion television special for the Extreme Sports Channel. I wouldn't say it made me proud though, more like satisfied for the moment.
Last trick you learned
This half-dumptruck thing turbined and barflipped to a backwards rolling half dumptruck position with both hands on the pegs. I don't have a name for it yet. I can ride out, but I want to combo it up a little more.
Last words
Take time to appreciate what you have and try not to complain. Do what will make you truly happy and don't hesitate because the time is now.
