Last Call

Keith McElhinney

Chances are, Keith has been riding longer than you've been alive. As long as I've known him (which is a long time), he's always loved riding — not ramps, not flatland, not street ... just riding. He's one of those rare guys that can rip ramps, vert, street, flatland, and dirt — it doesn't matter what the terrain, Keith can hold his own. Not bad for a family man.

Last time you were scared
At the CFB in Florida, I broke my heel, but was competing in vert anyway. I didn't get that much practice and the ramp was HUGE (13'4"). I decided I was going to throw a big 5, and the guy right before me threw one and knocked himself out pretty bad. Needless to say, I wimped and didn't throw crap (and missed qualifing for the invitationals by one guy and one point).

Last words
Why has riding turned into something that classifies people? Riding is riding. People limit themselves, and thus others, when they only ride certain things. Expand your riding.
