Flatland videos can get boring if you don't know what's going on. Fortunately, this video has enough jaw droppers to keep a dirt jumper awake. What's unique about this video? Tricks I've never seen. Strings I never even thought about putting together. All New Jersey flatlanders including Erin Donato, a flatland revolutionary flowing front wheel strings, switches, and an occasional mega spin g-roll deal. Ed Nussbaum and Adam Guild are keeping originality alive in flatland. Both made an appearance in Providence recently and made me smile. Great kids. Great riders. Brian Tunney, although no longer a resident of New Jersey, is nothing short of amazing with a steamroller to hitchiker with a bar spin in there somewhere. And if my rewind button wasn't ruined already, there's Ross Smith. Ross is an alien — he does all the tricks you never wanted to practice. How many kids have you seen hit a triple rolling walkover? Huh? Rewind. Slow motion. Rewind. Slow motion. Rewind. Frame advance. I still didn't know what the hell was going on. This is a video to be watched often for flatland inspiration. [Brian Chapman]
