Linkt

20 minutes
Another all-flatland video proving that as unpopular as flatland might be in the grand sceme of things, it's still good enough to warrant complete videos covering nothing but flat. (How many times have I watched all jumping/ramp videos?) Linkt has some great riding in it, thanks to the riders in it: Chad Johnston (who also made the video), Phil Dolan, Martii Kuoppa, Nathan Penonzek, and the NJ team of Ed Nussbaum, Adam Guild and Erin Donato. Some of the cooler stuff in the video includes handless front-wheel flips, spastic hitchhikers (regular and cross-footed), time machine variations (pedaling and no-handed), and Chad's rollback deathtruck links (remember him doing the how-to in Go back in 1990? Didn't think so...).

However, even a flatland-only video isn't always perfect (especially if you're a street rider). The music is all trip/hip-hop, which you can consider a plus if you're really into that; personally, I like a little variation...and that "fish and chips" song can get pretty annoying. There's also some repetition in the tricks shown, and a bunch of it was filmed at contests. But despite those minor flaws (in addition to its short running time), this is a pretty good video for flatlanders to have...and probably a good one for flatland haters to avoid.
